Physical: Pay attention to your posture. Most of us are walking around like hunchbacks, unconsciously closing our hearts. Begin to become aware of your posture while sitting, standing, and walking. Straighten the spine, engage the core, open the front of your chest, and drop your shoulders. Check in frequently to make sure you don't lose it, and notice if you feel somewhat vulnerable in certain scenarios. For those who are a bit more physically adventurous, add a camel pose to your routine. Stand on your knees with your toes curled under and your knees hip-width apart. Place your hands on the back of your pelvis for support. Engage your core to support the low back. Drop the head back and open the chest, gently backbending and using your hands for support. Push your thighs and hips forward, and do not rotate your neck as you backbend as far as you comfortably can. If you are experienced and warmed up, you can drop your hands to the heels and deepen the backbend. It is not uncommon for fear to come up in this pose. Opening the heart chakra can be scary!
Mental: Write yourself a love letter. Spend some time writing to yourself. Tell yourself all the things you love about yourself. Write as if you are writing to the love of your life. Eventually, that is who you will become.
Emotional: Try a metta meditation. Close your eyes and visualize yourself sitting in front of you. Wish yourself the following:
Spiritual: Participate in a service or volunteer activity. eing of service is an opportunity to give unconditionally. Choose an activity that allows you to interact with others who may be suffering in ways that you are not. Being of service is a way to generate compassion and experience how your own compassion for others affects your sense of well-being.
QUANTUM HEALTH TIP: Use the Vital Force Selenite Heart. Hold it while doing the meditations above for a quantum leap in amplification. Selenite soothes the aura, calms the heart chakra, opens energy centers to higher love and compassion.
Going beyond our divided allegiance offers a solution that dispels all doubt and fear, through the simple step of seeing consciousness as the foundation of life. In such a framework, here are the basic points:
The gist of practical immortality is actually quite simple. If consciousness exists--and we know it does--living with it as a permanent feature of life is the most logical way to live. We don't fear going to sleep at night, because the continuity of consciousness has been part and parcel of every life without exception. It would defy everything we know--and experience--about consciousness for it simply to cease because the physical body comes to an end. Everything about creation and destruction has been regulated by consciousness, and it will never cease doing this in a timeless way.
QUANTUM HEALTH TIP: What Dr. Chopra refers to as "qualia" is the set of perceptions we use to interpret and experience the world. To the degree our experiences are fully in the present moment determines our experience of immortality. Use our Alchemy of Transformation Meditation Elixir, designed to deliver a deep experience of timeless awareness.
To examine the effects of negative emotions, researchers from Hope College's Psychology Department, examined 35 female and 36 male participants as they revisited hurtful memories and grudges. They focused on blood pressure, heart rate, facial muscle tension, and sweat gland activity. Participants were then asked to imagine granting forgiveness toward real-life offenders. Not surprisingly, researchers found that "forgiving thoughts prompted greater perceived control and comparatively lower physiological stress responses."
Simply put, while negative emotions increased stress response and sweat production, forgiveness lowered blood pressure and relaxed facial muscles. They further explained that "...chronic unforgiving responses may erode health whereas forgiving responses may enhance it."
Unforgiveness is classified in medical books as a disease, according to Dr. Steven Standiford, chief of surgery at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. He insists that refusing to forgive people who've done you wrong makes people sick and keeps them that way.
QUANTUM HEALTH TIP: Unforgivingness is attention stuck on a past perceived wrongness. The stress this causes reduces mental focus, replays negative emotions causing fight-flight adrenal responses, and can affect situational awareness that could lead to accidents and more midunderstandings in relationships. Use our Clean Sweep Clearing Spray. It quite literally "sprays away" negative emotions, stress, and even neutralizes harmful EMF. Use it on yourself when things get harsh.
This is a handy and effective little energy mudra that you can do anywhere to address acute conditions, or to create a routine for chronic pains and conditions. Discovered, or received by healer, Jimmy Mack, My Liquid Fish is a finger motion. Begin with the index finger of either hand, hold it on or near the area in need, and then draw a "fish" as you move your finger away from the area to be healed. Energy can be drawn into an area by simply reversing the motion of the finger by starting away from the focus area and drawing the "fish", ending the motion on or near the area of interest. I use this daily, and have noticed it causes a shift where it is applied, and changes the pain or discomfort, in many cases simply taking it away. "Death, as a concept, is preposterous in the face of the infinite effulgence of being." -- Unknown
From a quantum perspective, death is actually a re-arrangement, a re-assignment, of particles and waves. But death in the way it is used in casual social parlance, means the "end" of a living organism's lifespan. I had a wonderfully bizarre conversation with a channelled being calling itself "Anttarr" one afternoon back in 1991.
I had asked if my lifespan was predictable--you know, that question that most psychics get: When am I going to die? Anttarr replied, "Dying is a hallowed tradition amongst you humans. It is a way to escape commitments, prove a point, give up, and stop playing the game."
I countered, "So we humans don't have to die? If we wanted to, we could live as long as we wanted?"
And before I had completed that sentence, Anttarr barged in, "Of course, of course. But there is much to unravel here. There are hundreds of generations of DNA programming to prove to you that death is as inevitable as taxes," it chuckled. "But no, you don't have to leave your body, nor do you have to age. That, too, is a social meme, a more, an accepted value; a way of constructing a character around an ego. A way of using time to validate self."
I didn't really have anywhere else to go with the conversation, so I changed the subject. But Anttarr's words stuck in my craw, and every time I start mulling over my mortality, Anttarr is standing there waving his "finger".
This week, Deepak Chopra published an article in SF Gate Magazine, called "Practical Immortality". In it, he stresses the point that consciousness cannot be non-existent. It always has been and always will be conscious. It is the basic, fundamental property of experience, the physical universe, and all dimensions beyond this one.
Within this context, the concept of death is exposed as an extreme example of duality. As Alan Watts said, "Death implies Life", since death would be meaningless without life. In the social human world, we have languaged and defined life as "not death", focussing cultural attention on the end of life being the reason for living. On the face of it, it makes a kind of slavish sense, but universally and from a non-dualistic view, it is absurd.
If we can turn this around so that death exists alongside life, it makes much more sense, and becomes something we can work with. Life no longer is defined by death--no longer defined by "lifespan". Instead, death becomes a useful agent for change--a way to transform self, and transcend the death-obsessed ego.
In most cultures is the idea, or tradition, of the "mid-life crisis", seemingly brought on by "becoming aware of one's mortality." This is how we program our minds, our DNA, and those around us, into carrying on this fine tradition of mortal fear, body death, emotional loss and suffering. We live our lives under the auspices of "being a contribution to society" while we're still alive to create a "legacy", and generally use death to motivate and worship our ego.
In the face of the "effulgence of infinite being", these concepts, traditions and cultural habits become obsolete. And by contextualizing living as an everlasting sequence of experiences and expressions of form, we arrive much closer to the Cosmic Truth about existence--a truth that is informed by infinite possibilities, choices, freedom and joy. We choose to live in this form. We choose to live as boundless expressions of creation, untethered by such mundane and slavish concepts of "lifespan" or "mortality".
By living a life without end, we send a message to our DNA to continually repair and regenerate, and we embrace the nourishing impossibility of non-existence. We have always been here, and will always be here. It's the inescapable essence of life.

QUANTUM HEALTH TIP: We've done several interesting experiments with groups of people--mainly in workplaces where there were contentious meetings, or depressed and apathetic attitudes. Prior to these meetings, we sprayed the meeting rooms with our Clean Sweep clearing spray, and then measured the number of times people laughed compared to meetings without using Clean Sweep. On average, laughter in the Clean Sweep rooms was 600% more frequent in the sprayed rooms. Do yourself (and your colleagues or family) a favor. Get Clean Sweep!
Only 10% of our DNA is being used for building proteins. It is this subset of DNA that is of interest to western researchers and is being examined and categorized. The other 90% are considered "junk DNA". The Russian researchers, however, convinced that nature was not dumb, joined linguists and geneticists in a venture to explore those 90% of "junk DNA." According to them, our DNA is not only responsible for the construction of our body, but also serves as data storage and in communication. The Russian linguists found that the genetic code, especially in the maligned 90%, follows the same rules as all our human languages. To this end they compared the rules of syntax, semantics, and the basic rules of grammar. They found that the alkalines of our DNA follow a regular grammar and have set rules just like our languages. Human languages did not appear coincidentally but are a reflection of our inherent DNA.
The Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev and his colleagues also explored the vibrational behavior of the DNA. His research team managed to modulate certain frequency patterns onto a laser ray and with it influenced the DNA frequency and thus the genetic information itself. Since the basic structure of DNA-alkaline pairs and of language (as explained earlier) are of the same structure, no DNA decoding is necessary. Living DNA substance (in living tissue, not in vitro) will always react to language-modulated laser rays and even to radio waves, if the proper frequencies are being used.
Garjajev's research group succeeded in proving that with this method chromosomes damaged by x-rays for example can be repaired. They even captured information patterns of a particular DNA and transmitted it onto another, thus reprogramming cells to another genome. In one experiment, they successfully transformed frog embryos into salamander embryos simply by transmitting the DNA information patterns via laser. In the same way, repetitious positive self-talk transmits information into DNA, altering gene structure.
QUANTUM HEALTH TIP: Using our Zen Meditation Elixir will increase the availability of Theta brainwaves--the deepest of the meditation frequencies. When "in Theta", commands or suggestions to the sub-conscious field are much more powerful, greatly enhancing one's ability to change DNA.
With those results in mind, IONS conducted two more experiments to see if focused attention could affect another property of photons: spin. The test apparatus consisted of a laser beam sent first through a horizontal polarizer (optical filter that lets light waves of a specific polarization pass through while blocking light waves of other polarizations) and then through a vertical polarizer in a light-tight box. In such a system, very little light should pass through the second polarizer unless something affects photon spin in the space between the two polarizers. The hypothesis was that focusing human attention between the two polarizers while holding the intention to twist the light beam might cause an increase in the amount of light passing through the second polarizer. Both of the exploratory experiments yielded significant but surprising results: Focused attention resulted in less light passing through the second polarizer while mentally concentrating on the beam. While this serendipitous discovery suggested that the mind might be able to alter the way light behaves, the outcome warranted further exploration to determine what caused the laser beam illumination level to decrease instead of increase.
Thirty experimental sessions were conducted with subjects alternating between periods of focused attention on the apparatus and relaxed states. While no significant effect (i.e. differences) was found in relax periods, as well as in the matched control sessions (where participants were instructed to do an unrelated task), a significant effect was found during the concentration periods. This effect corresponds to a negative correlation between the two sensors: meaning one sensor (i.e. beam illumination) measured an increase in values while the other (i.e. scattered light) showed a decrease. Interestingly, this effect goes in the opposite direction of our initial hypothesis — we expected a decrease in illumination and an increase in scattered light. This surprising outcome warrants further exploration.
QUANTUM HEALTH TIP: Since we are energy, and what we perceive is energy, it's not a stretch to observe the truth of the mind's interaction with and affect on light. By increasing presence in present time and eliminating the distractions of the monkey mind, our desires and intentions are much more likely to manifest as personal experience. Try our Success & Achievement Elixir along with our Success & Achievement Crystals to enhance focus and presence, effectively amplifying your effect on the "physical world".
This is an ancient Taoist practice, where you put your attention on an area of the body and have it smile back at you. For example, there is a pain in the right knee. Observe the pain, and then have the knee smile back to you. You may find it frowns first, but continue until there is a smile. You'll notice a marked decrease or subsiding of the pain, and perhaps some gentle throbbing in the area. This is a sign the energy flow has been restored. This is an excellent practice to do upon morning waking--addressing each of the organs, skeletal system, circulatory system and nervous systems. From 25 No Cost Health & Healing Hacks by Boyd Martin)

Here's a thought experiment: Imagine a playing field, such as a soccer or football field. Now, at one end the playing field is a beautiful countryside with rainbows, beautiful flowers, amazing villages, children laughing, super-high-vibes--your happiest place. At the other end of the field are your worst nightmares--darkness, sadness, terror, injury, drama and dysfuntion. Now, go down onto the field. Which end are you closer to?
We all live somewhere on this dualistic spectrum--some days closer to the light end than the dark, and other days closer to the dark than the light. Within this dualistic mindset, is an aversion to the dark, and a longing for the light, and therein lies a trap of sorts.
By resisting the dark end of the spectrum, we expand it, and by longing for the light, we demonstrate how the light end of the spectrum is not what we are having, doing, or being. It is a sort of double jeopardy, where one end seems unattainable while the other seems to be continually biting at our heels. As Princess Leia of Star Wars said to the Imperial General, "The more you tighten your grip, the more star systems will slip through your fingers."
We have been acculturated to deny and run from the darkness within ourselves, and like so many societal "solutions" to undesirable states and conditions, the more intensely we resist and deny the darkness, the more solid it becomes.
"Greener Pastures" are always "over there" somewhere away from where and what we are being right now. That "Silver Lining" is always behind those dark clouds, seemingly out of reach, representing a day of divine blessing that never seems to come.
What is easily forgotten, or overlooked, is that the "dark end" of the field could not exist without the light end. And if we find ourselves at the dark end of the field, it means there must be an opposing light end. The other unacknowledged truth is that within each moment at the dark end there exists a gateway to the light. We have only to make that choice to go there.
By getting hung up about "how dark it all seems", we expand it, make it greater than we are. We lose hope of ever getting to the light, and tumble further and further into that Dark End Zone. We stop looking at the light end, throwing away personal power in favor of "fate" or a rescuing "savior" that will make it all go away.
News flash: We are all our own saviors, and we save ourselves by choosing and committing to that light end of the field.
When there is pain, we must acknowledge that relief co-exists with that pain. We choose relief and thus begin the hero's journey out of pain. When there is the loss of a loved one, we must acknowledge that connection, oneness and love is co-existing with that sense of loss. When there are financial setbacks and poverty, there can only be such things because prosperity and abundance exist within those conditions. Just as with any problem, the solution exists within it.
I was sent a very special video by a friend that got me going on this--a talk by Miranda MacPherson. She speaks about the practice of non-duality being a frontal assault on everything we've decided we cannot be. Everything convinces us that we are not good enough, strong enough, smart enough or conscious enough to experience joy, grace and unconditional love in our lives. By fully embracing the entire spectrum of dark to light, and truly accepting and allowing both ends as eligible for unconditional love, we rise to the awareness that all is good, all is joy, and all is love. There are no excuses for our perceived weaknesses, as those are a denial of our strength. There are no excuses for our stupidity, as that points directly at our innate intelligence--how we learn and grow to appreciate our choices.
As we become inclusive of ALL of who and what we are--the entire spectrum of densities from that carbonized black goo to the glorius effulgent light of infinite being, we gain a mastery over our choices. We gain a truly deep appreciation for everything we've gone through across the entire spectrum of experience, for it has brought us to this place of true understanding.
We become free to run and jump and roll around anywhere we please on that Field, in the full knowing that no matter where we go, we are loved, we are cherished, and we are infinitely free.
To your quantum health,
Boyd Martin

I ran across an article about mindfulness the other day that kind of boggled my mind with its over-simplicity, snarkiness and, well, rudeness. The author was attempting to make an argument that the current popularity of mindfulness practices is re-enforcing the economic and social status quo, denying social injustices, and is creating a world full of self-centered, passive magical thinkers.
It was like watching someone who has no idea what a football is, lay out an elaborate critique about the football not being round.
This writer had decided that if everyone spent their lives watching their thoughts without judgment, nothing would get changed in the world because there would be no reason to change anything, as if judgmentalism and victimhood were pre-requisites to social change.
He was also writing from a trolling position of "those mindfulness people", obviously without having ever done the practice. I would like to point out to this unfortunately misinformed critic that the practice of mindfulness is probably the world's best hope for survival.
If all the world's leaders were able to sit together in mindful non-judgment about the state of the world, wouldn't you think things would change, not only politically, but economically as well?
Being in non-judgment doesn't mean to stop caring about injustices, prejudices, and "evil" in the world--on the contrary, non-judgment comes from a place of non-duality, where the naked truth of a situation can be revealed in all its ugliness or beauty. From there, the mindful person can then make a choice as to what is desired in one's personal life and the world at large.
The other vital characteristic of mindfulness is becoming aware of one's personal dark side--the habitual monkey-ninded diatribe of negativity that pulls a person into depression, hopelessness and apathy. By observing such automatic thoughts and feelings without judgment, they can be seen for what they nearly always are: a cry for love. By acknowledging these thoughts and feelings, it reduces their frequency, neutralizes their power, and reveals the trauma and hurt crying out for a loving embrace.
Another argument was centered around being "happy" with any negative situation, so that the mindful person has no motivation to change anything. This just points up the author's ignorance of the practice. Remember that "Kung Fu" TV episode when Cain is put in jail? He sat down and went into meditation, becoming hyper-aware of his surroundings, he was then able to find a way to harmlessly break out of the prison. This is what mindfulness provides: a way to use the mind to look at all aspects of a situation--without denial, without judgment--so that all perceptions and powers can come to bear on a problem.
The author also had a problem with the meme, "Happiness is an inside job", as if a person can only achieve happiness by controlling outside circumstances. This, of course, is backwards. By "being OK" with one's predicament is not saying they are satisfied with it. The "being OK" means that all facets of a situation--both positive or negative--can be observed with equanimity and then intelligent choices made to change or not change it. Personally, if I'm experiencing a negative circumstance, I would much rather "get my mind right" about it by achieving peaceful allowance of it so that all the possibilities for action can be considered. Otherwise, I'd just be throwing my fists wildly in the air in hopes of hitting something--and I've been there, believe me!
Mindfulness is a vital practice, and anyone who says different is advocating for self-ignorance, low intelligence, and warlike approaches to the world's problems. It is important to allow that many people do have these non-mindful views, because by being OK with them allows us to see the pain and injustices that must have been at their genesis.

Boyd Martin
